Refund policy

Warranty

IGZ Instruments AG provides warranty services in accordance with the applicable warranty conditions of the respective manufacturer or supplier and the mandatory statutory requirements.

Where applicable, IGZ Instruments AG will, at its discretion and in accordance with the applicable warranty conditions, repair or replace products or defective parts affected by material or manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper use, misuse, negligent handling, incorrect storage, accidents, normal wear and tear, modifications to the product or other circumstances for which IGZ Instruments AG is not responsible, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Products and parts subject to normal wear and tear or an expiry date may be excluded from warranty coverage where permitted by applicable law. Any specific warranty limitations applicable to a product will be stated in the respective product description or documentation.

The warranty does not include installation, maintenance, servicing or other technical services unless such services are expressly included in the respective product description or separately agreed in writing.

Customers must contact IGZ Instruments AG before returning a product for warranty assessment. IGZ Instruments AG will provide the applicable return instructions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IGZ Instruments AG shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from a defective product. Any limitation of liability does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

The warranty does not affect any mandatory statutory rights of the customer.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact IGZ Instruments AG as soon as possible.

If an order has not yet been processed or shipped, IGZ Instruments AG will assess whether the cancellation can still be accepted.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible. In such cases, the applicable return conditions apply.

If payment has already been received and the cancellation is accepted, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Withdrawals

Returns are handled in accordance with the return conditions published on the IGZ Instruments AG website and any mandatory statutory rights applicable to the customer.

Customers must contact IGZ Instruments AG before returning a product. Returns made without prior contact may be refused.

If a return is accepted, IGZ Instruments AG will provide the customer with the applicable return instructions and return address.

Unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law, the customer is responsible for the costs of returning the goods.

Where a refund is applicable, IGZ Instruments AG will refund the applicable amount using the original payment method after the returned goods have been received and inspected.

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after the return has been approved and the returned goods have been received.
